Our modular vaults are designed to provide extra security within existing buildings. To this end, the safe rooms have been tested and certified in accordance with the resistance standards laid down in the European standard EN 1143-1. In addition, safe rooms offer the possibility of dismantling and rebuilding at a different location.
All wall panels are made of steel plate, reinforced with armor and filled with high strength cement based filling. This guarantees a durable quality and does not cause any problems with disposal after normal use. The vault space is painted on the inside, while the raw concrete is visible on the outside. The outside of all wall elements is prepared for a normal plaster coating finish.
De Raat modular safe rooms are characterized by an optimal price-quality ratio. The burglary protection, as described in the standard EN 1143-1, is achieved by using the highest quality materials, in combination with a smart reinforcement system.
This results in a safe room with relatively thin walls and low weight. The very competitive prices prove that.
If the size of the roof of the vault room exceeds the maximum panel size, support beams will be used to allow for the construction of the roof.
A corresponding door is supplied with each desired protection class. All elements on the inside are primed and painted after welding.
The panels have standard widths of :
- 100mm,
- 150mm,
- 200mm,
- 250mm,
- 550mm
- and 600mm.
Other widths, increasing in steps of 50 mm, are possible.
